As for the ostrich, put glasses on him and he kind of reminds me of a home room teacher I had way back when. (I know, I should be pummeled for that.)

Don't ask me which ones those are though, cause I got no clue, I just like to photograph them. :laugh:

I can only tell that #3 is a wee duck! :laugh:

I can't help with most of the birds in your photos since they are not North American birds. LOL It's hard enough to learn all the NA birds.

But...the number two bird in your first post is some kind of Cormorant. This is a very typical pose for them as they dry their wings.

I can say for sure the 2nd bird in your second post is a Java Sparrow.

I think the first bird (in post 2) is some kind of Ibis with a mite infestation. We see lots of Blue Jays and Northern Cardinals here with bald heads due to mites.

The first one is a Fireback Pheasant.
