There were 3 terrible falls at the 'Hollow' jump late towards the end of the competition in Cross Country. The sequences are up to show exactly what happened, including Oliver Townend's horrific fall. If you go to the links above and click on images they will enlarge.
Each horse that fell - fell the same way, could not get that left leg over the fence. A fourth horse I believe on page 4 or 5 of cross country did the same thing, but managed to stay upright and finish the Cross Country test.

I am again, still adding stuff, so if there is anyone particular you'd like to see some pics of, let me know and I'll see what I have and put some up.

all the horses were fine.Oliver was airlifted to the hospital with broken ribs and a broken collarbone and later released.I believe Kristi Nunnink was treated at the hospital and released as well

Great photos!

Love the ones you took of Courageous Comet's dressage test. That horse is so good at dressage and I'm happy he and Becky got third.

I was sad to see that The Good Witch and Radio Flyer were both eliminated on x-country.

Those are great shots! I really want to go shoot an equestrian event again...whether it's a show or racing...I miss it!

Thanks! I hope to do more eventing in the future. I am not really sure where to find local event dates though, so I need to start milling around until I find something. The Rolex was a lot of fun!

Great pictures!!! Wondering if you got any pictures of Amy Tryon's other horse - not Leyland, a dark bay. He's an OTTB who ran in bottom-level races here at Emerald Downs.

Super shots!

I just saw Oliver Townend's horrific fall yesterday. When I looked up an article about the incident I was shocked he did not suffer something like a traumatic brain injury considering the horse landed right on his head.

I can't remember the horses name, but if he was there, I did get pics, so I'll look through them tomorrow and try to find some for you!
