Would have used the previous thread on Blackberry Road, but it got wiped out with the latest glitch. I went to Laurel on Saturday to see Blackberry Road race especially since it could have been his last race. I bet on him to show and he did! :) He is a gorgeous horse and within a few days I will try to post a picture or video. There were a lot of horses with great pedigrees in the race, too.
But this may have been Blackberry Road's last race since he is entered in the Keeneland November Sale. He is hip #4682, for which the sale occurs on Saturday, November 20th (Book 7, Session 13). I sure hope he goes to a nice farm in the USA. He is gorgeous, with alot of spirit, and a half to Vindication. Good luck Blackberry Road! I wish and pray for you a long happy life.

No, the half to Circular Quay got claimed off Repole/Pletcher and has struggled through three cheap claimers in the past 3-4 weeks. UGH. I'm worried about that one. But OT. Sorry.

Well, I don't think earning around $280,000 is a bad career. They could have retired him early on, but they didn't, and he always seems to finish in the money. He could make a wonderful sire. Great sires don't necessarily earn millions of dollars.

THAT is Persaud's MO.
Same as Jacobsen.
Persaud Ran Hedge Fund 25 times in 6 months after he claimed him.. till he went to MTN and was retired by Winstar.

The racing office uses the Persaud barn to fill races for bigger outfits.
