I was watching the Breeders Cup on espn and found out that Life At Ten was not warming up. Pletcher told the jock that she's not acting right she's very quite. On the track Jerry Bailey asked the jock is she warming up he said no, is she all right i don't know. Yet he never asked a vet to look at her there's no way that mare should have run.:jaw:

Good to see you have gotten with the program Sparky. There are already three threads about this

I cannot believe Johnny or Todd did not call the state vet over to look at her by the gate. (yet afterwards Pletcher seemed to indicate that Johnny had done so and the vets let her run anyway...conflicting reports) as Dr. Bramladge said none of the vets had been notified yet). And the vets should have noticed she wasn't acting right and examined her even if the jockey did not mention it after she warmed up so poorly. With all of the smartphones you would think someone could have alerted the state vet as to what Johnny was saying to Jerry Bailey on TV about her not warming up correctly. She loked so lethargic and almost "drugged"..the lead pony was having to drag her at one point to get her to keep up. And why didn't Pletcher call the vet over in the paddock if she seemed so lethargic? This just was not right to run a horse who was obviously sick or having a reaction to something tonight. Shame on all involved for letting her run and risking further injury to the horse and misleading the betting public. If I was LAT's owners I would be furious and demanding some answers at this point. I just hope, most importantly, that the horse is OK at this point.

My guess is that you are wrong to assume that the owners wanted to see her scratched.
