Wow. I've never seen a pedigree with that much color and I hope I don't again.

What if it works? Many of the foundation horses in the breed had pedigrees like this.

We have a mare going to Mizzen Mast this week that has close inbreeding to bluehen Mrs. Peterkin and a lot of linebreeding throughout the pedigree.

How about this, Byron?

Hey, Jas, I like that--a cross to my first favorite, T.V. Lark!

Love your mare's name, too. Eek!:becky:

Jas

We bought a Scat Daddy weanling out of a Tale of the Cat mare (bred the same way as this colt) for a client. He is now in work with JJ Pletcher and shows a bit of ability also.

Like the mating of your mare. Mizzen Mast is vastly underrated in my opinion.

Thanks, Diver. I love TV Lark as an influence in pedigrees as well!

Good luck with that Scat Daddy, Byron. They're looking really good and have great word of mouth, so much so we switched stallions on a mare we'll be flipping so we could get to him.

I thought it was going to be a horse like one I remember from maybe 20 plus years ago ...

by Mr. Redoy (by Grey Dawn II) out of a Grey Dawn mare. Don't recall the name of the horse.
