I apologize (once again) for the ridiculous Coppermine gallery that puts the photos in the order IT wants. It makes it difficult to keep what was shot at each farm together, but I can't seem to figure out how to fix the problem and believe me, I've tried everything.
And if we're lucky, the site will show up in English.
Images are of Tom Voss and several of his trainees, including Tom aboard Champion Slip Away; Jack Fisher and his crew who train at Locust Hill Farm; a few from Bruce Fenwick's Belmont Farm; Todd Wyatt's galloped at Atlanta Hall Farm; Kris Close and Tom Foley have Percussionist (Ire) and several trained by Alicia Murphy.

Wow. What a fine-looking group of happy, healthy horses.
I love Percussionist -- but you can warn them I'll be down to steal Swagger Stick.

Me too. Can't remember if I put up any where I was looking down on those horses, but if I didn't I should. They are almost as cool.
The gallop at Locust Hill is incredible. It was a little bit of a hike out there, but I had time to find good spots between sets and when I realized that I could actually get down low without having to lie down on cold hard ground, I was a happy camper. But as I watched them go by, I realized that if I wanted to hike up a nearby hill a little further out, I could get them galloping maybe 30-40 feet below me which was pretty darned neat too.
I stopped at Tommy Voss's one morning to ask if I could come out the next morning and he said 'sure'. When I got there, he was driving to his synthetic gallop in a truck. I was so disappointed. I wanted him to be on horseback. Back at the barn, I asked him if he was going to get on anything and he said, "I wasn't planning to, but I am getting on one this morning." Then later, he walked out of the barn with Slip Away. Cool .... the Eclipse Award winner with his trainer aboard. Loved it. There are a couple of shots of Tom and Slip Away in the Steeplechase Times which I did not put up in the gallery ... one is a close up of them galloping toward me. I like that one a lot ... and I love the one of him with the dogs.

These are stellar! I love seeing this stuff.
I always thought it'd be cool to gallop horses, just any horses - scratch that, now I want to gallop jump horses. This looks so fun.

Here are some from the point-to-point last Saturday. I'm hoping it's sunny this weekend at the Voss races.
Major Price, who won "the big race" on Saturday, is a half-brother to the dam of Game On Dude. Once he was done on the flat, Alicia Murphy bought him and she's done well with him. He actually rated this time. His normal speed is full tilt, 25 lengths ahead of the field, and he does hang on for the win after 3 miles, but the rider was actually able to get him to rate after "Rusty" couldn't decide how he was going to take the second fence. He was thinking of standing off by about 20 feet, or waiting until he was right at the fence. He chose the latter, hit the fence rather hard and let Roberts take control after that. ;-)
