I thought there was a thread about this, but couldn't find it quickly.

NTRA's FB page reports that Sophia Mangalee, of Monmouth Park's marketing department, finished 11th of the 22 who completed the grueling race.

Pretty darn good!

An excellent effort for her, and the winner was a South African dairy farmer.

A lot of people don't realise how difficult the Mongolian horses are to ride. True fact all of them are literally wild horses which are saddle occasionally to be ridden and roam around freely all day. They may be ridden by the kids, or when they are moving from site to site, and that would be about it.

I rode one a few years back, it was not your typical horse ride.
