The incredible San Pail won the Allerage Open Trot at The Red Mile. One thing I've noticed about harness racing is that the media really take note of grooms of specific horses. The Hambletonian program actually included groom's names, and this article even mentions San Pail's "caretaker"!

Two of my favorite older horses squared off again in the Allerage Open Pace - We Will See and Foiled Again. They didn't disappoint, as We Will See held off his nemesis by a nose.

Juvenile filly American Jewel stretched out her undefeated streak to 8 wins with her victory in the Bluegrass 2-Year-Old Filly Pace. The race was split into two divisions, and the second winner was Destiny's Chance.
