Unusual Suspect (American-bred by Unusual Heat) is in the Cup. 20-30 minutes to post.

Really liked the run of Unusual Suspect, think he will appreciate the 2 miles on November 1st :)

It was a great Melbourne Cup trial. He was severely blocked for a run just after the 200m mark. Should have finished a lot closer. Don't know if he'll get the two miles but if he does he is a big chance.
His owner, Barry Abrams is fighting cancer. An amazing story of survival is this guy. His father survived a Nazi massacre by passing out from the cold just before the machine gun found him. As horrible as it sounds, the bodies that fell on top of him kept him alive. He escaped in the darkness to join the Underground.
So the odds of Barry even being at this point in time were remote.
