Did Barry Irwin overstep his bounds? Honestly, I don't think so. He was put on the spot, big time and there was a river of emotions that was overwhelming him.

Hope those who criticize him get to experience the thrill of such an accomplishment. It is easy to pass judgment on someone when you've never been in those shoes.
Wait now... Chip Wooley simply reminded everyone how silly it was for everyone to harp about how he drove Mine That Bird 3/4 of the way across the continent with a broken foot. He didn't disparage anyone as being a liar or a cheater.

Let's be real now... since when has ANY owner of ANY horse who won a major horse race-- be it Breeder's Cup Classic, the Belmont, the Arc d' Triomphe, the Preakness, the Melbourne Cup, the Epsom Derby, the Queen's Plate, Dubai World Cup, or the Cox Plate-- gone on to categorically proclaim that their former trainers were liars during the span of a 75 second-long nterview?
