Re: Stallion News

Race fixing? What'd I miss? I believe it is in reference to the mess with Florent Geroux/Restoring Hope acting as a shield for Justify to prevent anyone from coming up and pressing him or challenging him for the lead, (even going so far as to sharply veering inside after going wide to keep people a...

--Random Idiot: You should never have killed Glen in Walking Dead, that's why people stopped watching! --Me: Uh, he dies in the comics. They're staying true to the story. --Random Idiot: But this is different! I know people are stupid but this is above and beyond anything I've seen in a very long ti...

Re: Fillies and Mares - 2018

Wouldn't be surprised if the bloodwork comes back and Abel Tasman is sick. It's true they aren't machines but you'd have thought she'd at least hit the board even if she was just having an off day. Nice to see Vale Dori bounce back; I was beginning to think her best days were behind her. her last 5...

definitely robbed. racing's biggest hero in how long? and off he goes with less than 6 months of screen time. i think AP actually takes the sting out of it - justify was a ridiculous disappointment, but at least i saw AP, too. and i just wanted to be happy re: justify, but it went from whoa, what a ...

wonder how many we'll hold on to, and how many we'll let go over seas. while it's true that successful horses over seas may not have been as successful here, i do wonder what the NA horses would look like/run like had we held onto some of them. this sale always makes me sad because we often see so m...

For those who watch GoT (also, don't read if you aren't caught up); Does Dany actually love her dragons? Before you say "Duh, yes, you stupid onion peel!" let me present you with some things I've noticed. 001] She doesn't keep a terribly close watch over them, or make sure they're particularly well ...

Re: Justify/Restoring Hope...quite the duo

if race riding is an issue, we need lanes staked out and gates in angled positions. if you go to window without taking things like same owner, same trainer, etc into consideration, the problem isn't "transparency in the sport", or whatever made up problem this tc win was. you guys can keep being mis...

what exactly would make everyone happy? oh right. literally nothing. we begged and begged for tc winners, this place was a disaster when we had near misses and heartbreaks, and now that we've had 2 in a short time span we're thrilled to have reasons to pick them apart until we're looking at every in...

i think we should scrap the triple crown, because we obviously hate it enough to b!tch about "bodyguards" or trainers or what types of clouds were in the sky, as opposed to. yknow. enjoying something so historical happening. we should rag on secretariat's belmont because he faced such a tiny field :...

Thoughts: *I was wrong about Mind Your Biscuits. I didn't think he would fire after his big Dubai effort and I certainly didn't expect him to do it going a mile. But he nearly got it done. *After opening his season with a sharp second in the Turf Classic at a distance far shorter than his best, Bea...
