Re: Breeders' Cup Picks and Analysis

My locks were Catalina Cruiser, Roy H., Monomoy Girl, and Accelerate - 3 out of 4 ain't bad. Still scratching my head over CC - too much weight on him or competition a bit stiffer?

Re: 2018 Breeders' Cup Distaff (G1) - Nov 3rd

Really bummed Monomoy Girl got such a crappy PP, but Florent gunned Gun Runner out a simiilar PP in last year's Classic, and to me Monomoy Girl is the distaff version of Gun Runner. Love this girl. Gun Runner had the 5 in the Classic, he actually had an ideal PP! It was in the Pegasus that he drew ...

Bummed that Accelerate got such a crappy PP, but I'm going with him anyway - Accelerate, West Coast, McKinzie, and Yoshida - my superfecta - will probably box it.

Re: Justify

I never thought I would say this, but I am filled to my craw with talk about Justify. He's an enigma - always was and always will be. I hope he does well as a stallion. Maybe then people will take him seriously.

Re: Jockey/Trainer News - 2018

Victor suffered a C3 fracture. So did I. A vertebroplasty fixed that sucker, and I was good to go the next day. Thank you Catalina.

Re: Justify

I honestly don't care how horses get judged by others. Justify could rank as the worst Triple Crown winner and it wouldn't bother me. I'll only care and remember the few wonderful memories he brought me. Breeding money will always prevent young colts from ever reaching true greatness of yesteryear.[...

Re: Saratoga 2018

I am going to get to see Monomoy Girl on Sunday, so that's exciting. When BdO gets to TOGA, I'll wander by Steve's barn and see if I can get some photos of hm. I'll bring a box of donuts and wear my Gun Runner shirt and hat.
