Re: BaroqueAgain?????

Well at least you still have your driver's license, that's a small blessing... it makes me wonder, though, I have a "fireproof" box like that too. I guess if I really need to get out I should take the box with me...

Re: Racing in Japan

I saw pics online yesterday of Almond Eye on her rest break at the farm... seems she is doing well although there was mention of something about her right knee (and it had poultice on it). The plan still seems to be France in a few months, so... *fingers crossed* In other news, WELCOME BACK BA!!!!! ...

My friend/colleague whose house is still standing in Paradise *just* got notice that they can return & check things out. Re: In memoriam 2018

It's easy for strangers behind a tech device to pass judgment when they have no involvement. I hope the misguided comments were made with concern for the horse's well-being as their basis, even if it didn't come across that way. It is clear, RtR from what you've said that everything possible was don...

Re: New Conformation Photos

A lot of his antics may have been because he had a rider or knew that was going to happen. He looked super calm in his walking video that is here: http://www.jrha.or.jp/stallion_e/horse/?name=Gold_Ship Awww lookit him all grown up and dignified... <3 He's got a lovely walk, look at the overstride.

Re: New Conformation Photos

Lurkey , you crack me up cuz I think like that too  ;-) It also makes me warm-fuzzy happy to see Flower Alley looking so well in SAF... and I dunno what they bribed Gold Ship with to get his confo shot but that's probably the most boring he's ever looked in his life, LOL. (It's a good shot, no...

You guys are very welcome - I'm probably dating my self as a fossil, but two of my fave books when I was a kid were Old Bones the Wonder Horse, about Exterminator, and Come on Seabiscuit by Ralph Moody. 8-)

Re: Hong Kong Racing

I'm not a vet or a steward but I would imagine he's done. It sounds like the afib was a lot more than just palpi...

Waiting for the Sprint, one of the commentators just said that Mirage Dancer suffered "a heart irregularity" - hoping that doesn't mean what I'm afraid it means... :?

Re: Hong Kong Racing

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah Lys Gracieux just second by a head in the HKVase, she fought for it every step of the way in the stretch but Exultant fought back and kept his head in front.

Love this filly. <3
