Re: The greatness of a nation and its moral progress

Incredibly disturbing. Thanks, Victoria, for unmasking the truth in this horrible story. The Battle for Louisiana: Dina Alborano and Horses at Risk By Victoria Keith August 29, 2018 Most horse rescues and individuals knowledgeable about rescue believe that it’s generally unwise to purchase or “bail...

I am sure happy to see a thread of his own. I have followed him for some time and would consider breeding a good mare to him as sound and accomplished, as he is.

Re: Justify vs AP at stud

So, Pharaoh WAS the only living Triple Crown winner.... is his value now as a stud diminished and devalued because we have Justify? Plus, you can easily breed to AP's sire who is beyond proven himself. I think he was standing in the neighborhood of $75-85K past season, but someone might have better...

Re: Justify

Did anyone listen to the Steve Byk show this morning where he put down Justify (and American Pharoah)_ but mostly Justify because he just won the triple crown. he basically said he was very disappointed in Justify; his times were nothing special and he expected more from him: that Justify is not a ...

Sounds like Justy may just head back to BB barn in CA after stop over in KY to be paraded next Sat before Stephen Foster. I really hope they decide to give him a break at WinStar after for a few weeks. Does Bob ever graze his horses? I can’t recall a photo of this. Would love to see Justy outside g...

Sort of... he's out of a Galileo mare :D Galileo has featured in the pedigree of the last 6 winners of the 2000 Guineas. Coolmore has made a spectacular nick here in pursuing Deep Impact as an outcross to their Galileo mares. Kinda funny to see Sunday Silence's influence heading back West, this tim...

The slaughter issue is exactly what it is. And the industry has dragged its feet and swept it under the table for far far...
