Does he look a wee bit short-legged for a Galileo?

I was thinking the exact same thing when I just now saw this picture. But, wow, Galileo sure stamps his progeny, doesn't he?

Re: 2018 JCGC and AA Watchalong

Anyone hear anything about why Spring Quality ran so far off his form in the Joe HIrsch? Hope he's OK. He seemed so competitive when he won that nail biter in June on Belmont Stakes day.

Re: Hurricane Related News

Not racing, but the World Equestrian games (WEG) are taking place currently in Tryon, North Carolina. That could be a nightmare.

So happy that we're all back online again. I, like many others, was having serious withdrawal. Paulick, Bloodhorse etc. filled some gaps, but I really missed this site.
KURENAI - THANK YOU!!!

Re: Justify

I am a she... Ok - Treve the horse is a she. Treve the poster is a he. It doesn't matter, Della. But I've had some conversations with Treve, and I always "assumed" Treve the poster to be a he. I think it's respectful of Ballerina to want to get my gender right, after all some people don't appreciat...

Re: Justify

Of course, I want the best for Justify, but I'm feeling pretty bummed as I just bought tickets for the Haskell, and was going to surprise my sister visiting from the UK that week, with a trip to see a Triple Crown winner racing. I guess we'll still go as it will be fine day of racing, but.....

Gidu is another Frankel potential superstar. Frankel is certainly off to a fast start as a sire.

Either too loud - Andy Serling just about threw a fit . I hardly threw a fit....or maybe you should see me throw a fit sometime for some comparison:-) I am not throwing anyone under the bus about the PA issues when we first started the show, and it doesn't matter, but obviously when we first came o...

How did NYRA do at Belmont this year?

Curious to hear how other folks experienced their Belmont day. The quality of the racing was superb - just about as good as most Breeders Cups. I got there really early - 8:00AM - so parking and security went really smoothly once they got started. I sat on the third level of the grandstand opposite ...

Just got home (near Philly), after THE BEST day of racing. It was absolutely worth leaving at 5:30am this morning. Seeing Edgar win the Woodford for Graham Motion by an inch was amazing. So happy for Edgar. Then Justify - no words for he has accomplished. Tessa - I, too, made use of that 3rd floor r...
