Re: Siblings (and offspring) of well-known horses

Galilean won the King Glorious today. His female family goes: Fresia, Fleet of Foot, Seattle Classic, Classy N Smart, No Class. So many champions in that female family. Won it quite easily too. His dam is beautifully bred for a distance of ground. I think he’ll stretch out. I love the female family...

My God, he was sickle hocked... So what? I could really say the same about half the stuff you post... but anyway, we often post photos of TBs on here and we often make comments about how they look. It’s perfectly fine to do so. We comment on colour, pretty tails, club foots, dinosaur heads, whateve...

Re: New Conformation Photos

I would love to see a photo from straight on. I recall he is base narrow, turns out up front, and offset through the knees.
If that’s true, he’s a good example of an athlete who ran through that.

Blofeld looks like he already has a sway back. They tried to hide it...?
Stanford is ugly in that photo. Is he really that ugly?
Dortmund is very front heavy.

Re: The rise of Sunday Silence

I guess everything written on a website is gospel. That same article says, "His strongest points as an individual were an unusually fluid, agile stride..." How is that possible if he had such crooked hind legs? I stood feet from Sunday at Santa Anita during his racing days and never saw seve...

And it's good to see Lord Avie's name live on in this colt. Best of luck to Avie's Flatter!

I think you are mistaken. Here's a conformation shot of Sunday.

Battle of Midway won the Native Diver over Dabster today. He’s quite a tough guy, he had to run the whole way, but didn’t let up. I’m not sure if they have said where he will go next.

Side note - I read this article https://www.paulickreport.com/news/bree ... -negative/
about the drug testing this year... and I got to wondering, did some trainers not do as well this year because of it?

Re: Accelerate vs Justify HOTY

But but but, Accelerate just beat everyone in the Classic. I’m Canadian, so I really don’t understand this East vs West argument. Sure, they have shorter fields in the West, but that’s about numbers. Aren’t there less horses out there, and only two “big” tracks compared to umm... five + in the East?...
