Danish Dynaformer and Noholdingback Bear both retired to Colebrook in Ontario.
Nice additions to the Ontario sires list.

Re: 2018 Pacific Classic @ Del Mar G1 $1MM

Amazing the responses we get on here. 1) I am a fan of Good Magic, but it was continually noted that he wasn’t the fastest of horses. 2) I wasn’t “poo-poo’ing” Catholic Boy, or turf horses in general. I actually like turf racing and turf horses generally more than dirt. Hell, I think Catholic Boy is...

Re: 2018 Pacific Classic @ Del Mar G1 $1MM

Just looking back at the comments of this thread and started thinking... if we’re going to judge Accelerate by who he beat this year, we should certainly judge Justify by who he beat... because they aren’t a consistent bunch, and the best of them was Good Magic, who got his ass handed to him by a tu...

Rushing Fall is such a joy to watch. She took it to them in QE Challenge Cup and kicked away to post a 1 1/4 length win.

Re: The Gelding Thread

9yo Aldous Snow , last seen winning the G3 Singspiel at Woodbine in July of 2017, won an NSA training flat race at Middleburg yesterday. He's now trained by jumps trainer Neil Morris. Interesting... That is awesome! He is a tough, hard-trying horse. I hope he has found his 2nd career!!! He’s not ta...

Re: Matings 2019

I'm intrigued that they've got 2 going to Mendelssohn, but nothing to Justify. And I don't think it's necessarily the stud fee, because they're using and have used American Pharoah (as well as Uncle Mo). Glad they're sending a couple to Oscar Performance, too. Maybe none of their mares match up wit...

Odd to see Tapwrit is more than Tapizar... especially with the year Monomoy Girl has had.

Re: Cozmic One

I wasn’t particularly impressed by him in the ring. I don’t understand why the deSousa’s have him - other than the fact he’s “famous” - they are competitive in the hunter/jumper world (aren’t they?), why bother with a horse that looks like he’s reached his limit?

Avie’s Flatter won the Cup and Saucer impressively today at Woodbine. He is a half to SW Avie’s Mineshaft, and 2nd dam is SW Fly for Avie.

The Breeders Futurity continues to be a blah race to me. But the Champagne... that was a good race. Complexity was mighty impressive running every step of the way, and Code of Honor is intriguing going into the BC Juvenile too.

From the pic above I would refer to him as a liver chestnut I agree he’s a liver chestnut, but Jockey Club only registers them as chestnut. He’s a pretty cool colour IMO. Hmmmm is it true they refer to every dark coloured TB as bay? With black points, yes. I’m 95% sure I have seen a registered brow...

Army Mule Retired to Hill 'n Dale https://www.bloodhorse.com/horse-racing/articles/229966/army-mule-retires-to-hill-n-dale-farms ~ Didn't expect this. Of course unsound horses with few starts seem to be quite popular. Pokes with 10-foot pole. A horse that borders on crippled producing more of the s...
