Here's the youtube video of the G3 Kyoto Himba Stakes.
I didn't think Robe Tissage ran a bad race off the layoff and the widest draw.
Let's hope she will do better next time!!

Any early babies from this group? Should be exciting - lots of excellent sires! I was wondering how Testament was doing and if he has raced recently?

Testament had a minor injury as he finished 4th in his second outing.
He is expected to come back in a few months.

Congrats to all the War Emblem 2010 crop winners (and seconds)!!! I am very excited about Improvise racing in graded company - I sure hope he does well! In his last win he was even restrained most of the race and still won. Thanks for the pictures! He is a beauty - are there any of his face without the blinkers on?

It was a nice win for Red Emblem - I like the shadow roll - does he have a star like WE? Any pictures?

I loved the win of Trans Am Star - gate to wire!

Shonan Daira had a very nice close second - almost for the win!

Meisun War - very nice win! - Also the shadow roll and star - any pics?

Godard - very nice win going away! - This one has a star as well - any pics?

Thanks so much Tachyon - I so enjoyed all of these races and the pictures! I hope they continue to do well!

Improvise finished third in the G3 Lord Derby Challnege Trophy.
He ran very well off odds 21 to 1 and I was proud of him.
But he could have won this with a better rider....

Thanks for posting the race. I don't like that once again he was restrained for at least most of the first half of the race. Then he was told to kick on too late. He definitely had kick and if a little more time I think he could have won it. I agree, I am very proud of him. They need to let him relax during the race where he is comfortable.

Also, he is so handsome. His facial marking definitely looks like a War Emblem Sunday Silence combo! :D

Robe Tissage(JPN), champion 2yo filly in 2012, finished 3rd in the G2 Hanshin Himba Stakes 1400m turf at Hanshin on April 12.
She just missed to win it. She might have taken over the lead a bit too early.
But I was VERY thrilled with her effort today.
It seems that she has finally regained her form. :D

Robe Tissage is another gorgeous one! I am so proud of her as well! She also may have been caught off guard by the horses coming at the last second and didn't have time to react. That one gray horse that I think came in second - was a great effort since the horse broke much later than all the rest and was last.

I hope she keeps doing well! Do you know where she is pointed next? I noticed she had blinkers on in the paddock but during the race they took them off and you could see her beautiful face! :D
