Improvise finished third in the G3 Lord Derby Challnege Trophy.
He ran very well off odds 21 to 1 and I was proud of him.
But he could have won this with a better rider....

Thanks for posting the race. I don't like that once again he was restrained for at least most of the first half of the race. Then he was told to kick on too late. He definitely had kick and if a little more time I think he could have won it. I agree, I am very proud of him. They need to let him relax during the race where he is comfortable.

Also, he is so handsome. His facial marking definitely looks like a War Emblem Sunday Silence combo! :D

Robe Tissage(JPN), champion 2yo filly in 2012, finished 3rd in the G2 Hanshin Himba Stakes 1400m turf at Hanshin on April 12.
She just missed to win it. She might have taken over the lead a bit too early.
But I was VERY thrilled with her effort today.
It seems that she has finally regained her form. :D

Robe Tissage is another gorgeous one! I am so proud of her as well! She also may have been caught off guard by the horses coming at the last second and didn't have time to react. That one gray horse that I think came in second - was a great effort since the horse broke much later than all the rest and was last.

I hope she keeps doing well! Do you know where she is pointed next? I noticed she had blinkers on in the paddock but during the race they took them off and you could see her beautiful face! :D

Hi Tachyon, any news on War Emblem or his offspring? Bright Emblem was impressive and looks big and beautiful. any more races for him or Robe Tisage, El Mambo, etc? I just had my first baby - a beautiful daughter on July 19th and lost alot of blood, etc., so still recovering. So I have been out of touch of sorts. Hope everything is well.

That's awesome!!!
Congratulations!!!
I'm so happy to hear about your new baby girl, WarEmblemluvr. :D
I pray for you and your baby to be healthy!

Bright Emblem, impressive maiden winner, is likely to run in a G3 in his second outing next month.
Robe Tissage has been in summer break. She might run in the G3 Keeneland Cup in two weeks, too.
