Little guy fooled everyone. Nice to see a Gr 1 win for Paynter.

Agreed. And I'm thrilled that Signalman got up for second. Since he was exported I would love to see General Quarters have a grade I-winning son, and this colt looks like a good one.

I'm sure Elliot Walden had to hang up on KRA or the Turkish Jockey Club about 3 seconds after Knicks Go crossed the finish line.

The Breeders Futurity was essentially an eyesore. In the context of the race, a slow one where the first two finishers were inside pretty much the whole way, only Standard Deviation ran an even mildly interesting race, as he came from way back being wide the entire trip.

The Breeders Futurity continues to be a blah race to me. But the Champagne... that was a good race. Complexity was mighty impressive running every step of the way, and Code of Honor is intriguing going into the BC Juvenile too.

I noticed that Noble Mission's Code of Honor got up for second in the Champagne.

Well, switching to turf really didn't work for Nitrous.

A former TBC poster, APVal, alerted me about Current before he ever debuted because of his handsome looks so I am quite smitten with him especially since he is related to Flute! When he kicks it into high gear, the way he runs reminds me of English Channel. So much love in one horse!

Cherokee Summer (By Revolutionary out of Sunlit Summer (Summer Bird)) broke her maiden on the 13th October in a Maiden Claiming at Remington Park by 1 3/4 lengths. The 2yo filly raced back in June to finish last in her first start. Cherokee Summer becomes Summer Bird's first broodmare sire winner.

A fool and their money shall soon part.
Off-shore Bovado has posted future odds for the 2019 Kentucky Derby!
Nobody should be less than 100-1 imho.

1. Game Winner (8-1) Won the BC Juvenile.

2. Instagrand (16-1) Went on holiday last part of year.

3. Coliseum (20-1) Unraced but working at Santa Anita.

4. Improbable (20-1) 2-for-2 winning an ungraded sakes at Churchill.

5. Knicks Go (20-1) Second by 2 ½ in the BC Juvenile.

6. Rowayton (20-1) Third in American Pharoah, second in Del Mar Futurity.

7. Complexity (25-1) Disappointing 10th in BC Juvenile.

8. Endorsed (25-1) Sixth in the Champagne.

9. Mucho Gusto (25-1) Won only race, a MSW at Los Al for Bob Baffert.

10. Roadster (25-1) Disappointing third at Del Mar Futurity.

11. US Navy Cross (25-1) Fourth in Nashua Stakes at Aqueduct.

12. Vekoma (25-1) Winner of the Nashua Stakes.

Bovada then lists 16 horses at 33-1: Aurelis Maximus, Cairo Cat, Call Paul, Code of Honor, Dream Maker, Fortin Hill, Frosted Ice, Gunmetal Gray, King for a Day, Maximus Mischief, Mucho, Network Effect, Preamble, Signalman, Strike Silver, Tale of the Union.

I've found it easier to tear up tickets at 8/1 instead of 8/5.
