Geez, I love tachyon's posts. Keep 'em coming. We love hearing about racing and race horses in Japan!
Give me that short lead, give me that win by a nose, get them all home safely!

They must be thrilled to get a Starspangledbanner to begin with, they're quite rare!

Of all the mares to take from 'Banner's hit-or-miss fertility, it's wonderful that Makybe Diva was one. That filly is lovely.

If he were french or italian I would suggest Noblissime or Noblissimo. :D That is like... the Noblest, essentially
A filly named Ruffian...

Eine Stute namens Danedream...

Une pouliche se nommant Trêve...

Kincsem nevű kanca...

And a Queen named Beholder

Black Caviar gave birth to a colt by Sebring overnight. Her first foal was a filly by Exceed and Excel. See the article for another picture.

I know it is literally the most natural thing in the world, but I still find the idea of foaling outside so cool

I like seeing them give birth outside too, and run around without halters. Nelly looks great, like she could still give them a good run in a sprint. :D

This article says there was one before her, a mare named Legally White, born in 2002. She is by a I Conquer, a son of Zabeel, while The Opera House is by Zabeel.
