I saw that race, and he really showed some grit in getting past the second-place horse. IMO, the big grey could have a nice future.

Freshman sire Coil got his first winner from his first starter at Golden Gate Fields May 1 when his daughter Recoiling won a 4 1/2-furlong maiden special weight in near gate-to-wire fashion by 1 3/4 lengths.

And I don't want to know how Dutt Bart got his name. I suspect something slipped by the JC but I'm not sure what. . .
I ran marathons. I saw the Taj Mahal by Moonlight. I drove Highway 1 in a convertible. I petted Zenyatta.

I'm assuming it means hair bun and beard, or something like that, in German. If you google image search Dutt Bart, its just pictures of guys with hair buns and beards.

It still sounds gross. But thanks for the info. . .although I'm now going to have nightmares about guys with beard buns.

Bodemeister got his first winner today in Bode's Dream a 2YO F who broke her maiden at first asking today at Gulfstream. Ridden by Zayas and trained by Pletcher, she is out of Frolic's Dream.
Not sure if she is his first starter.
A filly named Ruffian...

Looks like she was his second starter. Da Meister was his first.
