Maiden Beauty upsets Lynbrook on Belmont Park’s closing day to give sire Revolutionary his first winner

Maiden Beauty was making her racing debut in Sunday’s $100,000 Lynbrook Stakes on closing day of Belmont Park’s spring/summer meet, and subsequently exited the gate as the 22-1 longest shot on the board.

I really hope to see him excel as a sire. I absolutely adore him. I was there at the wire when he won the LA Derby.

I was in love with his sire, War Pass and was crushed when he died suddenly.

I have the same affection for him as I had for the Green Monkey. As a huge Zenyatta fan it would be great to see the son of Balance do well at stud (cuz sadly we may never get to see a son of Z in the shed :cry: ). Not sure how easy thats gonna be in Texas but there's always hope (?)

It would appear that whoever named the colt is a fan of the novel Dune. In the book, Caledan was the home world of House Atreides.
