There are many mentions of forgetting or not knowing a stallion is in Korea so I will be uploading a full list of US born stallions in Korea over the next few days. I haven't looked to closely at them but it is clear that some were brought to Korea as yearlings while others were 10-15 years old on arrival.

Please feel free to ask questions or comment as these names mean very little to me!

I don't think I realized Winchester was there.

Winchester arrived in Korea in Oct 2013 from Australia which is odd (in the middle of the season) and I can't find any record of his progeny in Aus. Tracing his travels for 2012-13 would be interesting.

He wouldn't have any Australian foals. He was "retired" in the US in January 2012 then sold to Australia where he raced 5 times between September and November 2012. He didn't do well in any of his starts, 9th, 9th, 9th, 6th, and 17th, so maybe they were trying to bring him back in 2013 and it didn't work so they sold him?

I had no idea Volponi was there--or even still around! Overall that's not at all a bad roster; some of the younger ones could turn out to be very good,
I ran marathons. I saw the Taj Mahal by Moonlight. I drove Highway 1 in a convertible. I petted Zenyatta.

I never thought to look for a racing career for Winchester in Aus! All 5 races were G1s where he closed well late then his last race was the 2012 MelbCup when he ran 17th to Green Moon

Volponi arrived in Korea in Jan 2006. Clearly had some good ones there when his foal numbers have suddenly doubled from one year to the next. Now a 20yo he had 7 live foals this year
