They don't have more talent, but they had the better coach and they outplayed us that day.

It could not have sucked worse than our season this year. That was terrible. I'm almost glad we had a losing season that way we wouldn't have to go to Nancy's Furniture Bowl and prolong the torture.

I don't have anything against OSU (although I've leaned towards disliking them ever since our matchup in the 2007 BCS game), but I can't deny that I enjoy seeing Urban Meyer struggle. It still stings, the way he walked out on our program and made up a bunch of lies as to the reason why. I'm not the type to wish constant failure upon him, but I can't resist cracking a smile when I see him get trounced and lose his treasured BCS berth.

Ugh! Nebraska. This Georgia gal and longtime Dawg fan has recently moved to Husker country. I'm surrounded by Herbie Husker fanatics. Herbie you don't hold a candle to Hairy Dawg and UGA.

This Florida State alum will be at the BCS Championship, and that's really quite exciting.

Yeah, I'll bet he was fired. 12 losses to Navy and a 34-7 pounding this year. It hasn't been fun if you're an Army fan.

I'm not and I told my dad "I'm so happy you didn't join the Army." Navy all the way!

Army hires Jeff Monken as coach

Intent on ending its long losing streak against its archrival, Army hired former Navy assistant Jeff Monken as its football coach.

Monken spent the past four seasons as the head coach at Georgia Southern after learning the triple-option offense under Paul Johnson during stints with the Middies and Georgia Tech. He had a 38-16 record at Georgia Southern and helped guide the program's transition to the Football Bowl Subdivision from the Football Championship Subdivision ranks.

Trevor Knight throws for 4 TDs as Sooners upend Bama in Sugar Bowl

Hello, Trevor. Farewell, AJ.

Trevor Knight's final start as a freshman sent Oklahoma's expectations soaring into 2014 while bringing a sour end to AJ McCarron's otherwise-charmed Alabama career.

Knight completed a Sugar Bowl-record 32 passes for 348 yards and four touchdowns, and No. 11 Oklahoma took down the third-ranked Crimson Tide 45-31 on Thursday night.
