Eagles prevent Giants from clinching playoff spot, 24-19

If the New York Giants continue to play this way, they won't have much of an impact even if they make the playoffs.

Offensive line is horrific. Receivers need catch better but Shepard will learn. We need some big, athletic o lineman. Perkins is OK as long as he has running room and Eli very clearly feels rushed because the pocket crumbles.

Christmas wishes: legit pass rush, offensive line massive tune up, a tight end that can do something other than be a stick.

I'm really sad that there isn't an NBA thread to discuss games, because the one between Golden State and Cleveland was so tremendous that it blew all of today's football games out of the water (or at least the three that I saw) in terms of excitement.

Ryan leads Falcons to NFC title game, beating Seattle 36-20

Matt Ryan hardly resembled a quarterback who can't win the big games.

No, this looked more like an MVP.

Lewis scores 3 TDs, Pats advance to AFC title game 34-16

The New England Patriots are headed back to a familiar spot: the AFC championship game.

Dion Lewis had a 13-yard touchdown reception , a 98-yard kickoff return for a score, and a late 1-yard touchdown to help the Patriots hold off the Houston Texans 34-16 on Saturday night and advance to an NFL-record sixth straight conference title game.

Clutch Rodgers leads Packers past rallying Cowboys, 34-31

Aaron Rodgers didn't need another Hail Mary this time.

Maybe just call it a "Half Mary."

Steelers hold off Chiefs on Boswell's 6 field goals

Chris Boswell's pinpoint right leg and Le'Veon Bell's two dancing feet.

They do call it football, after all.

Indeed, Bell spent much of Sunday watching the film "Happy Feet."

Rodgers is playing next level football right now.

Yeah, that guy's pretty good. ;)

Glad he bounced Jerry and the 'Boys, but Atlanta probably too much this weekend for them.

Don't know about that. Atlanta has to remember they're in the post season at some point right? GB is banged up but it's a team that has some tremendous momentum working for them.

I like seeing different teams go far, and Atlanta is the only one who makes a yearly appearance. Matty Ice is way underrated - Atlanta has no defense and couldn't protect him for years and his numbers have always been good. I hope they take the whole thing but envision a GB-Pats SB.

In which case go pack go.

I'll go Pittsburgh v Atlanta, and Atlanta to be champs. Need some new blood at the top. Atlanta defense is suspect, but I like that coach, and offensively they should put up 35-40 on GB inside that dome. Avoid turnovers, and they should be okay.
