Burt died today. Heart attack.

I met him back in the 1980's. I had a friend with a small QH farm. He leased her QH stallion, we trailered the stud down to his farm in Jupiter, FL together. He was pleasant to us. We met his dad, too. His dad had Arabians on the farm, Burt had Mustangs and QH's.😥

Good ol' Burt. No pretense there. Said what was on his mind, much to the chagrin of many I'm sure. I used to enjoy seeing him on Johnny Carson - funnier than hell.
And Deliverance - an absolute masterpiece. He found his niche and filled it well. RIP Burt.

I've found it easier to tear up tickets at 8/1 instead of 8/5.
