He was a well-beaten fourth. Dueled for the lead with the eventual winner and ran out of gas.

Samraat had another set back (hairline fracture on the same leg that was affected last time), and will miss the remainder of this year. They may try to bring him back next year since "He hasn't done enough to really be a stallion".

Merely a fan, but I tend to agree with you. Even if he were merely to reproduce himself, there's a ton of people in horseracing who would adore having a horse with 800k+ earnings.

He's probably going to be one of the only stallion prospects from Noble Causeway too, since he died last year.
