...because I need somewhere to lament about Bulletin's odds :(

15 minutes to the Breeders' Cup!

As someone who likes Strike Silver I am surprised at 7/1

Me too. I thought she would be second-choice in here.

I wish some more interesting horses had made the field like All About It. I feel like I just can't get into any of the longshots here. I know it's juveniles on the turf so anything can happen (and likely will) but I need a reason to pick someone and I just can't convince myself of anyone who is at a longer price here.

I disagree with some of the pundits I'm hearing that this race favors Europeans. I feel like the speed and turn favors the home team but perhaps the ease in the ground plays to Europe.

I already have my first gripe about NBCSN's coverage; their post parade graphic doesn't include sire & dam, unlike TVG's graphic. :x Points to TVG.
At least I'm getting to see Harley. The massive 'pony' was absent the last day or two at Churchill. Maybe resting up for all today's races?

good on Bulletin. Nice win. He almost unseated the jock on the pull up...

Oops I missed the race because of office hours. Caught a replay of the stretch run- man, Bulletin is super good. Did he lead throughout?

Now I get to have my multi-race dreams crushed later rather than sooner. Hooray...

Dayam! Bulletin broke so fast, I thought he was a Wesley Ward trainee.
Pletcher may have been a bit cold lately, but that that is one hot little runner.
Two winners in a row for the late City Zip. Cool.

I'm thinking Newspaperofrecord wins this like everyone else but I would try to get The Mackem Bullet and My Gal Betty into the frame behind her.

I really like The Mackem Bullet underneath too, hope she fires.

Not sure what I expected, but the Bulletin/Newspaperofrecord double is brutal.

She couldn't have had an easier trip, but boy is that a nice filly.

Respect to East for nabbing second from that brutal post.

IIRC, Thinair was touting Newspaperofrecord. He sure wasn't wrong. Wow. :o
It does look like it is really hard to close on that soft turf course...although East, who was last on the backstretch, did get up for 2nd.

I'm in awe of that filly. Keep her healthy Chad, and she'll be fun to watch for years.

Very happy for Mr. Klarman. Congrats!

Does Concrete Rose have a gulastra plume? Also love her one white stocking.

Mig yesterday said he thought NpoR was the next lady Eli... I knew she was good but that was a gobsmacking performance.
Too bad I couldn’t get home on time to wager since my site uses morning line odds and I was looking at a NpoR/East exacta (boxed cause I’m a chicken)

NofR was running so freely. That may be the easiest check Irad ever wins!

I have absolutely zero idea why Restless Rider is favored here, let alone under 9/2...

Update: Bellafina is favored. The world isn't ending.

Splashy Kisses is gorgeous.

EDIT: Baby Nina's mane flowers are cute.

Bellafina looks remarkably similar to Quality Road.

I'm WPS on Serengeti Empress (Alternation). It's a tough race for her, but I think she's very talented. Plus Shantel will help her to fly. ;)
