A quick copy of my post on the Happiness Thread to summarize what the photos are from.

It started out normal yes it did. Until right before the fourth race when my Mom suggested asking a professional photographer if I could follow him around for a little. I was a bit reluctant so my Mom took over and asked him. And well he said yes. Followed him onto the racetrack (the horses were all ready leaving the paddock for the extremely two way walk to the track at that point) where I got some shots of the field storming down the track, and then in the winners circle (got to shake hands with the winning trainer), and then I went back into where they weighed the jockeys. And then I went into the paddock before the next race. Then things got a bit surreal, the guy's brother who took pro photos for a newspaper company let me go up with him to opposite side of the track where the horses would be starting (for anyone curious the track is a triangle shape for a lack of better description). So I got to go up there get shots of the horses stampeding past and then after that we went to another spot and got more shots of a different race. The 7th race was a bit more normal just went and took shots from the outside of the paddock. But those last three races were memorable!

No these aren't all my photos that would take up a ridiculous amount of space just several of my favorites.

The nice looking eight horse about to be led out onto the track before the fifth race of the afternoon.

The three horse in the paddock before the race. One of several grays who ran in the later races.

The young jockey who won the fourth race was nice enough to smile for the camera for me!

Last photo for this post. A shot of the connections in the winner's circle. Got to shake the trainer's (the guy on the left of the horse).
