Keep an eye on Baffert's Contested, a Ghostzapper filly who's been on the sidelines since a dominating maiden win at Del Mar. Stomped a NWIX field at Santa Anita in speedy time. (Baffert trains, Mrs. B owns.)
I ran marathons. I saw the Taj Mahal by moonlight. I drove Highway 1 in a convertible. I petted Zenyatta.

Flash Mash (Smarty Jones - Magical Flash by Miswaki) has become a total PITA about going onto the track. Basically she won't go onto the track for a race with the lead pony. Trainer (Stidham) has to lead her onto the track -- and today he had to walk her along the outside rail for the post parade.
But, she's a talented nutjob, and went on to win the $100K Giant's Causeway!![]()
