Groupie Doll is getting a little vacation back at the farm -- and her paddock mate is Brass Hat! How cool is that?!

Buff Bradley: "I like to tell people, 'Yeah, I've got a couple of Grade 1 winners running around the field.'"

This is from a nice piece by Jennie Rees on what having horses like GD and BH mean to folks like the Bradleys. http://blogs.courier-journal.com/rac...rom-brass-hat/

    Great!!!

    article...

“I think I’ve been putting it off a little bit,” said trainer Bill Mott, adding that he wanted Royal Delta to have sufficient time to recover from her Dubai trip. “She was ready to start breezing. Her coat looks better now than it did when she went to Dubai. Her breeze was very good.”
“It’s very, very disappointing that New York has lost its filly and mare stakes program from May 28 until the end of August,” Mott said. “It’s really sad that they have more stakes for fillies and mares in January, February, and March than they do in June, July, and August.”

    Yay!!!

    http://www.drf.com/news/hollywood-no...urning-everett

Zazu will face a significant test in the Everett.

The field includes Ellafitz and Include Me Out, who each won two stakes at the Santa Anita winter-spring meeting earlier this year.

Include Me Out is the expected favorite in the Everett, having won the Grade 1 Santa Margarita Stakes on March 17. Ellafitz, the winner of the Grade 2 Santa Maria Stakes in February, was last of four in that race, fading in the final furlong.

    I don't think he's a filly or mare, though.
