FOUNTAIN OF GAINESWAY

This isn't a horse photo, but it's a sight that everyone see who has ever been to Gainesway Farm.

When you go to the stallion division, after walking through the office and down towards the barns, they have this beautiful water fountain.
On the top of the stone there are name plaques of different stallions who have lived and died at Gainesway.

Oh that is a cool picture. It looks like winter, and the bare trees to me somehow bring out the fountain more. I hope to go there one day.

I've got one of that in my office that I took, will bring it home and try to post it.

I know there are plaques on the fountain to honor the stallions who have died, but I would love to go to the Gainesway graveyard. It would be like a Whos-Who of breeding.

That's what it's like for me to walk into the graveyard at Claiborne Farm, and seeing the graves of Sir Gallahad III, Blenheim II, Bold Ruler, and all the others. It is sacred ground.
