Also, this filly has a clever name. Ruby Brown is a play on the sire and dam names (Big Brown x Truely Ruby) and is also a brand of shoes. Appropriate since Big Brown's dam is descended three times from the "Shoe Girls" family of Simon's Shoes (through full sister and brother Thong and Lt. Stevens, plus in tail female.)
