Dear WinStar Stablemates,

Well, it is that fantastic time of year again and WinStar Farm is delighted to announce the highly anticipated return of its very popular Fantasy Derby contest. Fantasy Derby 2012 is free for everyone, easy to play, and offers the very best in possible prizes!

This year's contest will allow each fan to name his or her own Fantasy Stable, and then select horses in different categories, all with the goal of establishing the "winning" stable.

WinStar President Elliott Walden sees Fantasy Derby 2012 as another step in WinStar Farm's broad desire to engage ever more with you, our loyal racing fans and WinStar StableMates: "This contest makes it really easy for our fans to get interested in the Derby Prep races, and get to know and follow the horses who are on the Derby watch lists."

Winners will be determined by who has the most Fantasy Stable earnings through the contest period. Fantastic prizes will be awarded to the Top 10 finishers:

• First Prize is 2 VIP tickets to the 2012 Kentucky Oaks and Kentucky Derby including Accommodation for two nights.
• Second and third prize are 2 VIP tickets to the Kentucky Derby and Oaks respectively.
• Fourth prize is a complimentary one year Grade 2 WinStar StableMates membership.
• Competitors finishing from 5th to 10th place receiving a complimentary one year Grade 3 WinStar StableMates membership.
• All prizes include a 'behind-the-scenes' VIP guided tour of WinStar Farm on Friday May 4th.

Contestants must enter and have from today until noon, Saturday February 18th to select their 'Stable' to play and be eligible to win the prizes!

I'm 51st thanks to Creative Cause and Longview Drive.I have Algorithms and Union Rags in the Fountain of Youth this weekend and Hansen in the Gotham next weekend.So hopefully those guys will help me out.I don't know how there's people with 200,000 points already

Well, for one, News Pending ran 2nd in the FOY, and he was one of the options in Group 1. (Yeah, I don't have him either.) Plus there could be several of the smaller fry 4 that brought home some money.

Probably because alot of people had those 2 in their stables. I dropped as well, and I have El Padrino, Union Rags and Discreet Dancer. What saved me from going down futher was probably the fact that I had News Pending as well.

I'm in 585th thus far I have a bunch running this weekend and one of my horses (Algorithms) has been injured I hope I do well this year I haven't in the past.

I'm doing very well compared to the last two years I'm 659th with $947,250 in earnings I did make some missteps this year though when choosing horses:

I had Algorithms who was injured also, Immaculate which was a mistake unless does a 180 soon. Liason, Battle Hardened, and Empire Way I still have hopes for.

I have Consulado, Currency Swap, Gemologist, I'll Have Another, and Alpha who have yet to make a start during the contest.

But for all that I still have Summer Applause, Hansen, Union Rags, Midnight Transfer, News Pending, Desert Storm, and Creative Cause.

I just hope everything else goes well.

I haven't actually done it, but next to the horses that you previously picked, there is a "change" icon. I thought perhaps you could swap one horse for another, maybe not.
