At my house, very good, LOL. My guys aren't known for their bling although this year we have a little.

I may have to go dig up some newer pictures.

Really looking great, and the first thing I thought when looking through them was "neither has a bit of white - how unusual".

If you don't mind, I was wondering what mare is in foal to Line of David?

Thanks, plus good luck and safe racing on Friday...

and no I haven't named her yet (which is something I have been known to do practically at birth much to the amusement of farm managers)

She looks great! And that's a gorgeous picture.

I also have been known to do the name-at-birth thing. When our Hard Spun colt was born on Valentine's Day in 2010, I wanted to name him Hard Hearted but unfortunately it was already taken.

Last year, I named our newborn Candy Ride, Jellybean.

Well look at that hip! Great photo! She's a very nice filly. Pretty mare, too!

I always want to name mine but it just makes it easier to keep them if you do, so I don't.

What did you name the Hard Spun colt? Hard Spun is my absolute favorite.

I want to thank you all again for posting pictures of your mommas and babies. You all are doing a very good job!

We did not name him at all. We sold him last September as a yearling and he still has not been named by his new owner.

I'm glad you're enjoying the pictures.

I love foal season. Thank you all for sharing your mares and foals - something you certainly don't have to do - but so many of us appreciate it.

Guiding Star had a Mineshaft colt last night. Our first New York-bred.

Thanks! I finally have some white! LoL

They promised better pics soon. They had 4 mares foal last night in 3 hours. That had to be hectic.

That's a nice looking bone structure. I love when they're just born and you can see exactly what's there. And having him be a NY-Bred and a colt is a nice bonus.
