Federalist(JPN)(2007H. Empire Maker x Dance Partner, by Sunday Silence) must have now emerged as one of the top performers in Japan, as he won the G2 Nakayama Kinen 1800m turf extending his winning streak to 4. He has been lightly raced and his record is now 10-7-0-0.
Last year, Victoire Pisa won the same event before capturing the DWC.
Federalist is not yet even a G1 winner. But I thought this 5yo rising star could deserve a thread.

Me neither.... but we can always hope!
I would love to see him run 2000m on tapeta.

** Last year Japan had three starters in the DWC. But they were really the best horses Japan could send at that time --- Buena Vista(HOY), Victoire Pisa(Arima Kinen winner) and Transcend (Dirt champion).

P.S.
1. Other Japanese web-news reported today that Federalist was nominated to the Dubai Duty Free, (which might be more realistic...).
2. Eishin Flash might still be on the wating list to the DWC, too.

Federalist didn't receive any invitation from Dubai until yesterday morning which had been set as the time limit for his depatrture by his connections. What a shame....
His next start is now likely to be in the G2 Osaka Hai at Hanshin 2000m April 1st.

He will meet Tosen Jordan (2011 Tenno Sho Autumn winner), Rose Kingdom (2010 Japan Cup winner), Earnestly (2011 Takarazuka Kinen winner) and so on.
