have they made up their minds yet as far as a host site? They said they would have one by last year and is now March.

I don't believe they have.
It really is taking a while, I feel like they announced the 2012 host site right around the 2010 BC.
FHFH!
Maybe they're scared to reveal to everyone that it's not Belmont.
Naaa, they're waiting to see if the world ends, if it doesn't than go ahead and make a decision, if it does...well problem sorted.
I'm anticipating a zombie take over.
Maybe waiting to see the ratings at prime time or waiting for the impending earthquake and tsunami on the west coast.
rumor has it it will be ..........Monmouth
@DRFHegarty: Monmouth Park in New Jersey will apply for 2013 Breeders' Cup, top official of track said.
if they went to NY and then monmouth ill be ok with it but its been too long for NY
http://www.paulickreport.com/news/ra...-breeders-cup/One of the things New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo accomplished with his takeover of the New York Racing Association was elimination of Belmont Park as a likely host of the 2013 Breeders’ Cup, according to several insiders tuned in to the selection process for the 30th annual year-end Thoroughbred racing championships.
NYRA last hosted the Breeders’ Cup at Belmont Park in 2005, and it was widely believed the event would return to the Long Island, N.Y., racetrack next year after such a lengthy hiatus. But that was before the upheaval created by a takeout scandal rocked NYRA’s management, leading to the dismissal of CEO Charles Hayward and the move by Cuomo to reconstruct NYRA’s board of directors with political appointees. That NYRA board reconstruction, which has yet to begin, leaves too many questions unanswered about the future of the racing association for the comfort of many Breeders’ Cup directors.
Instead of going back to New York, it is becoming increasingly likely the 2013 Breeders’ Cup will return to Monmouth Park in New Jersey, which first hosted the event in 2007. That was the first time the championships were held over two days instead of one.
Maybe if it's at monmouth i'll actually drive down and attend it. But at the same time it will be rough watching the Breeders Cup Classic and remembering 2007 and what happened to George Washington
Cuomo is just another political hack. Worse than Spitzer who was a vindictive governor but he was upfront about who he was going after and at least NYRA escaped "unscathed from his cluthches" after a few years.
Cuomo is the worst...a phony and as big a political hack as any recent governor. Worse, he panders to a corrupt legislature to push through pet programs...like recent plan to reopen NYC-OTB with the Catskill OTB to run NYC-OTB...the same Catskill OTB where the P6 BC scam was done.
Catskill OTB is the worst in the state...bar none. And Cuomo want it to run NYC-OTB as more political patronage jobs...all with lifetime benefits....one reason NYC-OTB went bankrupt...paid for life medical and pension plans, unions and paddded jobs for Cuomo favorites in Albany.
Sure wish they would give it to N.O. and the F.G. I;m sure they never applied to have it here, but i would love to see it here. Would be great if the old F.G. could have just one B.C. like Woodbine did. And M.P. and Lone Star. It probably will be Belmont again.
I'd love to see it at Monmouth again. Hopefully the weather will be better than the last time.

Belmont is officially out. Satish Sahan on ATR today said that NYRA (when Charlie was still in charge) has withdrawn its request to host the BC indefinitely until a future decision is made about Belmont's future.
