Thought this guy ran a great race today..anyone?

He did. Surprised the heck out of me.

Didn't surprise me. I had him in a tri box with Rags and El Padrino.

He ran a 94 beyer. Am I to be excited by that. He finished ahead of a bunch of slow horses. And there really is no disputing that. The fillies ran faster and Awesome Maria and the 2nd place finisher in her race would have beat the colts for fun.

I had him across the board and boxed with Union Rags. Thought he was winner at the top of the stretch. I never would have played Borel's horse in that race.

I didn't really think he could win, but had him second best behind Union Rags, mainly because he's never run a bad race. But stretch run showed he might be best at a mile or under.

Did well enough not to fade while second behind a slow pace. I don't think it was anything extraordinary we saw out there, but not bad.
