That is not exactly a tough field. Gemologist should win that race if he is top notch. Looks pretty mediocre to me.

And Street Life's numbers are on the upswing too. These are late-developers, you simply don't know when they will come through with a big one. Look at the Louisiana Derby, for example.

I love the horses entered because the four I like all have to prove the same thing: that they can run faster! All four have shown talent, have nice pedigree for longer, but so far have not been very fast. It'll be interesting to see which one steps up.

As for West Point, they were right to put him in there. The winner ran a 90 beyer, you didn't have to think much of your horse to enter him in that field.
