Hoping Brilliant Speed can go on to more good things this year, and retire to stud someday to help carry on the line.

Turns out Perfect Drift was also born on April 29.

Beat All is doing alright as a National Hunt stallion. http://www.stallionguide.com/images/PDFs/BEAT%20ALL.pdf

Lucarno has his first crop heading to the track this year, although since he's also marketed toward the jumps crowd we probably won't see many of his babies for a couple more years.

This will be Weiner Walzer's first year at stud. He's in Germany.

Sigh...the end of an era. Probably he and Seattle Slew were my favorite sires, and like Slew, he passed away on his own terms, as per the BH article. RIP.
Searching is half the fun. Life is much more manageable when it is thought of as a scavenger hunt as opposed to a surprise party.

Here is a link to a short video of Dynaformer's memorial today at Three Chimneys. As the Sinatra song says "I did it my way" seems to fit Dynaformer's passing.

Sounds like the old man wore his heart on his sleeve once he knew his time was close.
