I think that is very sweet. Just think about it- a small, kind stallion next to such an imposing one in size and temperment. Gosh, what a hole in their breeding programs with these 2 gone. Hopefully, Lewis Michael will step up for Rahy and Temple City can carry the torch for Dynaformer(or perhaps Le Grand Cru?)

Lucarno has his first crop heading to the track this year, although since he's also marketed toward the jumps crowd we probably won't see many of his babies for a couple more years.

This will be Weiner Walzer's first year at stud. He's in Germany.

Sigh...the end of an era. Probably he and Seattle Slew were my favorite sires, and like Slew, he passed away on his own terms, as per the BH article. RIP.

Dynaformer's legion of fans can pay their respects to one of the most influential stallions of our time during the annual Three Chimneys Derby Week Open House, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday. A memorial service for Dynaformer will be held at 12:30 p.m. during the event in the stallion cemetery.
