She does a mean bunny hop.
Thanks Gin! She is one of my very favorites! Along with her stablemate, Forever Together. I saw them on Sunday @ keeneland and they both looked GREAT! Everyone was happy with their works.
Have you seen the other Shepherd horse, Cloudy's Knight? OMG he is GORGEOUS! And he is TALL!
Here are Summer Bird, Mine That Bird and Connie and Michael ... most of the early week stuff is in the morning at the track. By Thursday morning, I'll do more wandering around the backside.
Einstein and Helen Pitts-Blasi ...
Forever Together ...
Thanks Gin!
Gorgeous, Gin--a who's who of my faves (except Z).
I love the extension both on Mine that Bird and Einstein.
Einstein really is a black horse, isn't he?
It was a morning of "born free" ... and they were both grays. One of Pletcher's dumped his rider and ran the wrong way and was eventually caught on the turn.
Then later on, California Flag went zooming by going the wrong way on the outside fence. He was booking ... but apparently got to the gap and stopped. I heard Aaron Gryder walked him back to his barn.
Here are two shots of the latter.
I had a couple of things to do, but I'm on my way back to the track. Maybe I'll see Zen today ... maybe not. I might be too late to have seen her arrive, but she'll be out in the morning.
Great shots! I see CF did give himself a little blow out![]()
Boy I'll be California Flag's camp was holding their breath on that one! Is it me or do you get the theme song to "The Black Stallion" going through your head viewing that photo of Einstein? I know he's not completely black but he sure looks like it there. Certainly he's very, very dark. At least he was when I saw him.

If it wasn't for that little spot above his nostrils....I'd say Black Stallion definitely fits
I collect different copies of the book "Black Beauty." I currently have 50. Do you have any I could buy?
I love those shots of California Flag. What must you have been thinking when he raced right by you with that perfect stride?
I read at Bloodhorse that his connections said that the "blow out" might have done him some good.
Nice shot of Forever Together.

Isn't that unbelievable. That's the first thing I saw when I looked to see if I had caught him ... "dammit ... look at that perfect stride ... and all those damn rails in the shot". When you want that stride, you can't get it. Murphy's Law I guess.
When you want things done right, sometimes you just have to do them yourself.
Aidan O'Brien galloped Lillie Langtry. He didn't come out on her. I haven't read anything yet, but as I understand it, there was an issue on the backstretch and he got on her and I guess her rider got on the pony.
Gin did you get any of Piscitelli? Man he's a handsome dark bay. I saw a pic of him on Rick Samuel's Facebook page.

I just saw a shot of Piscatelli, but I couldn't tell you when I saw the horse. Maybe I should look at Rick's and see when he got his.
My votes for "best looking" or "most presence" go to: Girolamo, Summer Bird, Gladiatorus ... oh, there must be more. Quality Road posed beautifully this afternoon. There were a couple of other Pletcher horses that looked really nice (and posed). Richard's Kid looks great, but he's not very big. I don't recall what he looked like last winter so I can't make a comparison between a horse in the East in January or February and in California in November ... but he's nice looking.
Here is Goldikova, just because I don't want to continue to edit and this is one of the rare shots where a horse doesn't have its mouth wide open, bit halfway through the mouth, tongue hanging out. What on earth did we do before people discovered the chain over the gum. Kind of disgusting to see all these horses being held on the ground by brute force.
I'll keep looking for Piscatelli although I probably won't get to it tonight.
P.S. Your Mills stories had me laughing out loud. She's a pistol, isn't she!!! Hope she's not being too much of a pain in the neck.
LOLOL Mills is a doll. She's a young cat and any young cat will be that way. I get a kick out of her. She makes everything a toy. I've picked up your mail 30 times and only 7 of those was from the actual mailbox. LOLOL Perhaps she should come home with me. Certainly if anything she makes a person exercise.P.S. Your Mills stories had me laughing out loud. She's a pistol, isn't she!!! Hope she's not being too much of a pain in the neck.
