I am not sure if any of you caught a blog on BH with 6 horse photos for you to identify. I got stuck on the mare on photo nbr 4. I have no clue who she is.

I know her daddy is a ARG-bred black stallion Endeavour II and the dam apparantly is from a line of Easy Mon.

The mare pictured here won a couple of races as a juvenile of 1963 and was stakes-placed a year later. Her first foal -- the colt pictured -- arrived in 1983, and would have three younger siblings. The mare's grandsires were Endeavour II and Easy Mon -- making her inbred to Selene (GB) via Hunter's Moon (GB) and Pharamond II.

HighStreet? I just looked at Endeavour's progeny list then picked his oldest son I recognized, looked through his 1961 born daughters and looked for the one who had Easy Mon as the BM Sire. She doesn't have foals listed on Pedigree Query but I did find a 1983 gelding out of her on Equinline.

I just don't get the significance of this mare, if she is indeed the right one. She wasn't a big race winner and none of her foals were either. I think if they would have been, they'd have been on pedigree query.
