"Sinclair Lewis aptly predicted in It Can't Happen Here that if fascism came to America it would come wrapped in the flag and whistling The Star Spangled Banner." ~Harrison Evans Salisbury
Heh Heh Heh ... Yeah ... When Lava means no, he means NO!!
He was cool that day, but kinda feisty! Most days he's pretty much like that. But sometimes he's cool to be pet and nuzzled.
He and I get along just fine because I can read and respect his moods very clearly. He's the kinda guy who leaves no doubt about how he's feeling about company.
The groom was pretty much laughing after Lava tried to chomp him. I'm sure he pretty much expected it was coming. I know I did! You didn't see MY hand in there with him.![]()
Live life, don't just exist it!
Boy did I see this one coming!

I hope he hits it big over there. While i'm sad to see I'll Have Another off to Japan it doesn't surprise me.
Well I guess that makes another reason to get my butt over to Japan to see their stallions (starts researching foot races there knowing its her best bet to getting there). Wish he was standing somewhere closer to home though.

"You can debate it until the cows come home, but a New-Mexico bred mare has just done the improbable," Track announcer concerning Pepper's Pride breaking the 16-win streak record.
Maybe IHA's siblings will all end up in Japan like Sunday Silence's as well.
Just an FYI:
@Ill_HaveAnother:
(1) For those of you following the FB page, the girl doing it knows nothing about me, the connections etc. She writes unauthorized posts.
(2) The FB page has been reported several times. She is combative, and deletes, blocks people etc. Her views are not ours and we apologize
First rule: Try always to do what's right for the horse. The people part will work out. -- Josh Pons, Merryland, 2007
The same I'll Have Another FB page that I saw said IHA was only standing his first season in Japan then coming back...I tried to find out if this was true and haven't seen anything. Went back and the post was deleted. Odd.
I'm tempted to unlike the page, but there's lots of nice photos of IHA on there. The girl running the page claims to be 21, but from what I've seen I would guess more like 13.
I could see why the connections are annoyed with the page. Every other post is not even about the horse but about "drama being started". Should be turned into the IHA fan page for middle school kids. I would guess by "unauthorized" posts they might be referring to the ones like the above I mentioned in the first paragraph? I'm not sure. But you're right Ty, the page says it's just a fan page so I'm not sure how it's possible to post anything unauthorized..
I think she is quite young. I am talking to her right now, encouraging her to delete the drama posts and not do those again, just fan posts about the horse. Those Tweets seemed to have really scared her into thinking she was about to be kicked off Facebook or something. I find that rather wrong that a young fan can be intimidated so. How many other thousands of fan pages on Facebook escape this prosecution, no matter how silly their posts? Frankly, it's obvious she's young and the page is clearly stated as a fan page, so if people don't like it they can "unlike" it (ha) and find another IHA page. If the connections don't like it (who sent that Tweet?) THEY can start an official page.
I don't like her posts, and quickly 'unliked' the page. She just clogs it up with a bunch of junk unrelated to I'll Have Another. Secondly, she types like her favorite news source is Tiger Beat. If you're going to do a fan page for a horse, you could at least make your best attempt to be professional out of respect to the connections, instead of treating the page like your own personal blog or twitter feed.
He is on the track now.
Looks like he is getting fat and happy![]()
Best part of the ceremony: I'll Have Another
Worst part: TVG. How many times can Todd Schrupp say the word "Betfair" in 60 seconds? poor Mario. He had to spend most of the parade in a tv conversation. and how about those TVG sponsored signs? a purple version, with Barack replaced by the horse and "Hope" replaced by "Hero".
