Here's our Derby winner folks!

This actually happened in California an hour before a race some time ago:
O'Neil (speaking to his assistant trainer) : Hey can you get that pain in the a$$ from
Thoroughbred Champions out of the barn and on Lava Man so I can administer
the milkshake to the horse in the 6th.....
Assistant Trainer: Boss I've been trying for the last 30 minutes but he keeps delaying
me taking pictures.Where should I send him?
O'Neil: I don't care,just get him the hell out of here....We're dropping from a 75
claimer to 12.5 and the owner will kill me if we don't win today....
A government which robs Peter to pay Paul can always depend on
the support of Paul.
~George Bernard Shaw
"The budget should be balanced, the Treasury should be refilled, public debt should be reduced, the arrogance of officialdom should be tempered and controlled, and the assistance to foreign lands should be curtailed lest Rome become bankrupt. People must again learn to work, instead of living on public assistance."
~Cicero - 55 BC
^....where's the popcorn for this one.

My kingdom for a horse.
Seems to me that Monmouth Troll is a wee bit obsessive over O'Neill ... Guess when you're a waste of life like he is, you have nothing better to do.
And Barny ... That was cute! Keep up the good work buddy!![]()
Live life, don't just exist it!
Can't you dredge up anything more recent Monmouth Troll?
This is from back in August 2012, right after he'd had another horse busted for it(and paid and served). They were basically side by side. And the horse in question was a whopping 2.4 millimoles over the legal amount! What a gross violation!![]()
Get past your bias Troll Boy ... You tossed EVERY SoCal horse for The Derby this year and got burned ... Deal with it and stop being such a damn pansy!
You're just coming off as petty and vindictive. Maybe learn from it and consider horses from BOTH coasts and in between like the rest of us do. I may tout SoCal horses a lot, but my bets encompass horses from everywhere. Yours should too ... Get over it and stop being such a baby. Learn and grow and consider the whole field next time like most of the rest of us do.
Get over it loser.
Live life, don't just exist it!
Nothing against the horse, but i'll be sick if this guy wins a Triple Crown
Yea....kind of sad because I like the horse and like the jock! So I'll put personal feelings aside about the trainer, because not all of these trainers are saints....and cheer on a great horse/jock combination. I'm from New England, but seem to have an affinity towards the west coast horses for some reason.

My kingdom for a horse.
Heck ... I like the entire list of connections ... horse, jockey, trainer and owner.
Never really was much of a fan of the horse until he did what he did in The Santa Anita Derby ... After that, I started taking him seriously. Now with the Kentucky Derby win and the way he's been looking, training and running ... I'm pretty much a believer now. He certainly doesn't seem to have any distance limitations thus far either.
There are some other really good horses out ther who could take the next 2 races, but given where he is and what he's been doing and this "feel" that I have about IHA right now ... I've gotta think he can replicate his effort in The Preakness. he's gonna be tough.
He may just the the right kind of hot at the right time.![]()

As long as he doesn't put a bounty on other horses.....
Everyone come home sound
I don't care how good the horse no one can like Druggie or the owner that allows it.
This thread is disturbing - you are bringing up OLD news and now denegrating an owner that LOVES and SUPPORTS this sport - MOVE ON!

There are such worse things that trainers can do besides use drugs, while it isn't ideal and can often mean the trainer is cutting corners, I have seen way worse go on. Sometimes they do go hand in hand, but not always.
The article is from yesterdays NY Daily News which has one of the top 10 largest circulations in the country and the point is that this is the type of PR you can expect for racing over the next 10 days, you mental midget. Now go stand in the corner with your dunce cap on.
