    What a hard-knocking filly/mare she was. Love that we share the same name - Doreen.

    From age 2 through age 6 - 94 races - 34-15-17. Inducted into Racing's Hall of Fame in 1982.

    What a mare. Ninety-four starts in four years. Horses and people both were whole lot tougher in those times. She must have retired sound and healthy too, to live to the ripe old age of 31.

    Thanks, jjacks. Appreciate it. Perhaps the link is only available on the photos section. I've never noticed it anywhere else.
