2013 foal crop for Medaglia d'Oro and sons.

It's that Time again for me to start my compulsive ferreting out of names of mares who went to Medaglia d'Oro and his sons at stud. I'm on pins and needles waiting for 2013 breedings to start showing up on the Breeders' Cup website, but in the meantime, if anyone has any news and names that I can add, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Also, Gold Aly and Mixmaster entered stud duty this year. Unlikely I'll hear any names before the foals are hitting the ground, but you never know.

Also also (lol), Mocha Joe had a single foal born in 2011, a filly out of That Darn Kittenwho has since completely disappeared from all Equineline documentation, both in the sire's name and the dam's. Any idea why this might have happened? Usually if the foal died it still shows up on the mare's produce report...

I don't think the matings are going to show up on the BC noms website this year. Many of the reports have been in for a week or more, even 2 or 3 weeks. Before, the matings showed as soon as a stallion's report of mares bred was filed.

BTW, I've got a list of MDO's daughters who have been bred in the past but not this year. Any chance someone might be able to discern if they were exported or have passed away? They are: Chelsies' Way, Final Hope, Jost d'Oro, Lucky d'Oro, Medaglia Bay, Min d'Oro, Palin, Prospect d'Oro, Queen of the City, Quick and Golden, Quick in Motion, Ransom of Gold, Sensational Gold, She's Our Annie, and So Heavenly.

Looked for info on the first 4, Chelsies' Way - according to JC- a 2011 Filly by It's No Joke.
Final Hope just raced at Delaware Park- in a Mdn Clm- was 5th- and is working over at Bowie.
Jost D'Oro last race was over at Calder in May of 2009- no other info
Lucky D'Oro I can't find any other info on- although there are alot of transfer/change of address reports here in the US.

No death or export notices on these so far- will continue to look for you in regards to the others.

Quick in Motion - 8-6-10- Won at Ellis in last start- was exported
Ransom of Gold '12 Colt by Any Given Saturday
Sensational Gold 3-2-11- Hawthorne- 7th in Allowance, appears she lost her '12 foal- not sure who she was bred to.
She's Our Annie won Esplane Stakes on 12-09-2009 at Fair Grounds- '12 filly by Curlin
So Heavenly - no other info

I think mares bred report was due today and I think usually it comes out a week afterwards.
