If you had a race horse, what would you name it?

I have a dream or one day owning a racehorse. I doubt it will ever happen but I can dream! I'm always thinking of cool names for horses. I wonder if other people do

When I was a kid my imaginary horse was Shaton. I have no idea what it means. I thought I heard it as one of the race horses in The Black Stallion, but as I got older I realized it was Satan (pronounce suh tahn)...I think lol


TBird: Jellybean... The first and, well, only foal I ever saw born was a bay filly with a blonde mark on her cheek in the shape of a jellybean, thus her barn name. I think the lady that bought her kept the name

Allen Paulson used to name is horses after air force check points (I think) and other owners do that too.
I'd probably name 2 after my husband's hometown and where we live now: Goose Creek and East Bend

I would totally name my horses after the periodic table of the elements, assuming nothing clever could be done with their pedigrees. A flashy chestnut named Chromium... why hasn't this been done yet?? (my Gallop Racer games notwithstanding )
