This horse tries hard but on some racing surfaces he struggles without firing his best run
and often does better at longer distances

A Feisty FILLY who can take the lead and leave the field playing catch-up

She can hang back even spotting the Field several lengths and then Close like The Super-Train Express all the way to the finish line and winner's circle

Her last race was an incredible run
from Last to First in breathtaking fractions!

But -- She often Bounces after a big win so she remains the Eternal Question-Mark
She is the favorite today: 5/2

An Older STALLION who has shown signs of age this season, rarely running with his Outstanding winning form of last year

He does have His Moments
He set a new track record this year in one race and has a few additional good efforts among the lack-luster van-off ones

He has not returned to his excellent form of last year and may be given another xray to check out the Gate incident that had him vanned off with a shin injury

A Spectacular FILLY who rarely is not In-The-Money She often surges to the front for the early lead and occasionally, leaves her best effort in the first half of the race

On other days she fires like a cannon and leaves the field wondering HUH!
as they struggle to keep up with her!

A Fractous FILLY who often displays her SHENANIGANS in the Post Parade and starting gate

She can win a race only to finish last in her next effort Her connections never know WHICH RUFFIAN will run on any given day

Congrats Dusty on a nice total and a strong win. Congrats to all the other fillies who finished 2nd, 3rd and 4th. Congrats to the colts who showed up, managed to finish but were distanced..............AGAIN!

Kudos to our victor, who's been making us all look bad recently. I just hope I suffered the worst beat I'll see this year, as my main wager of the day was an exacta of Schoolyard Dreams over Odysseus.
Heartbreak is a part of this game, as we all know, but there's only so much any one heart can take.

Very Game and clever Filly by EDITING a Scratch
in R4 to CHOOSE the winner ($29)

Kept After RQ the entire race only to lose at wire

INTO THE MYSTIC
This outstanding Filly showed all of her talent in the FIRST MILE and faded badly in the last half of the race but managed to hold on for Show

ALL 3 FIRSTS came in the first half of the race
and unfortunately had all 3 pix scratch in R8 ;-(

THAT may have cost her the Place Spot!

DUSTY
The Opposite of ITM

This Filly held back (like Zenyatta) in the first mile....then EXPLODED with a Dynamic run to the wire
with a Big Hit in R9 where her Pick ONLY RAN 2nd but paid a whopping $22.60!

She too was all Fire + Brimstone in the final stretch but too little too late

With ALL 3 Pix SCRATCHED in R4
THAT may have cost her the Show or Place Spot!

Luck in the Wrong Direction!

Always a Game Filly in every race she runs!
Had 1 Nice winner in R6 ($20.60)

All 3 of her Scratched pix paid off but not big
She ran steady the entire race never giving up but not firing on all cylinders to win

KD
A Stallion who was left at the gate after breaking poorly, almost tossing his jockey!

Once he recovered and found his footing he was all business but it was too late to make up for the 10 lengths he spotted the field

The longer distance of 1 1/4 miles gave him the chance to really get into the race in the last half mile finding his footing and new energy,
but not enough to hit the board

CRIMINAL TYPE
Had little energy or pzazzz in early going
Found his best stride after the 2nd turn but
it was too little too late but appears to be ok
