Demonic and Violence in a stretch duel in Derby (Names of this year's Derby horses)

It looks like Violence may not make it, but I have to admit Demonic and Violence would be quite the stretch call on national tv.

This is quite a good group of names, with 5 that I believe the Derby/Triple Crown Gods could approve of.

5 really worthy Triple Crown names. Of course Fury Kapcori would be tough to swallow.

    Normandy Invasion
    Revolutionary
    Fortify
    Mountain Eagle
    War Academy

Naming a horse after D-Day, full of violence, is somehow a better name than... Violence?

I posted something similar in another thread. All of those claiming that many of these names were 'bad' never responded. Go figure. My personal favorite is Palace Malice - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-swicCpWmNE.
Well there's lots of smart ideas in books I've never read, when the girls come talk to me I wish to hell I had

Ah well you and I forget D-Day was a good day for the Allies. All is well as long as it's historically biased correctly enough.

He is a very pretty horse. Inconsistency is just oddening. War Academy? Why do we promote war?

Does anyone have some definitive information about VIOLENCE rather than all these suppositions?

Who bought him? And why won't he be on the Derby Trail?

I heard he has some minor issues which will set him back. If someone did buy him they better have deep pockets. The owner is not exactly poor. I guess Darley piad $40 million for his dad, so maybe they wanted him or their rival probably wouldn't mind standing him.

Maybe both, he has some issues and somebody bought him. If you own him and all you want to do is win the derby and he has a setback, you probably would sell him to someone that views the bigger picture with him.

I'm not interested in you hearing what you heard. I'm interested in getting some DEFINITIVE information as to who bought him. If he has issues that are that serious to keep him from running in the Derby, why would anyone want to buy him.

So far, lots of rumor mongering and little lead pipe sure information. I'll wait until I get that before engaging in converstions with, "I heard."

At the risk of venturing into the overtly political, war (like violence) is sometimes necessary to preserve life and liberty.

Yes. The invasion of Normandy liberated a country and saved the world from tyrants. Much like the revolutionary war did. The people at Normandy on the allied side were true heroes. It is a great name for the horse because I doubt the owner named him for the violence that occurred but rather the actions of the brave young men.

I even love the name USS Constitution for one of his other horses, despite losing $100 on him the other day when he lost a race he had won but managed to figure out a way to lose by a nose.

Violence is a great mover and my top Derby horse right now. Could the somebody in question either put up or shut up with this supposed "info" so we can all rest easy?

No. We can mention that we might know something, but we can mention no more than that because it would be a violation of privilege (which it is).

Which begs the question of why even bother saying anything in the first place.
