Re: Last Post Wins
Hmm. There aren't a whole lot of options other than to send him to the Goodwood?

Re: Last Post Wins
Not really. Mettee says he doesn't like the dirt, so that leaves them back at square one.

Sheikh Rashid's horrible horse names continues with Tevez the Tiger. I'm sensing a trend here. The colt is by Cuvee out of Eighteen Carat and was bought for $450,000.

Re: Last Post Wins
Perhaps Jalil will take a shot at the Shadwell Mile? A lot of times some upstart will win that race. Purim last year comes to mind. Doesn't seem like they know what to do with him.

He could very well take to the turf here. It will be interesting to see what they do.

I just hope the horse wakes up! :undecided:
I, on the other hand, am far too awake for this hour of the night.

I can't believe Songster still hasn't raced. What is the holdup? What was the point of sending him to Saratoga?

Re: Last Post Wins
It's almost midnight here and I'm not tired. I should never have taken that nap. Unless I take one almost the second I get home, it's a huge mistake.

Re: Last Post Wins
Naps rock. The best ones are when you can sleep for about 20 mins and then go on with life. But those are hard for me. Usually because I can't wake up after just 20 mins, but sometimes because I feel, like, pressured or something and can't fall asleep.

Little Belle's going to the Ruffian. Most interesting.

Re: Last Post Wins
Hmm. Indian Blessing is running there, too, right? LB could still run in the Spinster, too, though. It's a month away.

Re: Last Post Wins
The Spinster is definitely still possible. I just thought it was interesting that they were putting her in a race with older horses and keeping Music Note with the three-year-olds.

Re: Last Post Wins
If Little Belle would happen to be able to win the Ruffian, Spinster and BC, a championship could still come her way. But Zenyatta's going to be tough to beat in the BC, that's for sure.

She does fine in the slop, too (Oaks), which she'll probable see on Saturday.

Re: Last Post Wins
That's true too, and at least they're taking her out of MN's shadow. She's a very nice horse in her own right and should have a chance to prove that without the comparisons.

Where is MN running? The Gazelle?
